Women’s Hidden Network (شبکۀ مخفی زنان) is a social comedy series directed by Afshin Hashemi. Javad Norouzbeigi is the producer of the series and Mohammad Rahmanian is the writer. The series stars Siamak Ansari, Leila Hatami, Mehdi Hashemi, Shabnam Moghadami, Baran Kosari, Shaghayegh Dehghan, Mona Farjad, Yalda Abbasi, Hamid Farrokhnejad, Amir Hossein Rostami, Reza Behboodi, Shahram Masoudi and Mohammad Reza Azadfard.

Women’s Hidden Network tells the story of Mirza Mahmoud Zanburakchi, a high-ranking employee of the Civil Registry Department. The Ministry of Culture and Arts invited him to take charge of a women’s association in 1931. His duty is to compete with and eliminate similar organizations. He works alongside Delbarjan Tajerbashi (played by Leila Hatami), a wealthy and influential woman who has her own agenda. Shabakeye makhfiye zanaan (Persian pronunciation of the series) has 30 episodes.It is exclusively broadcasted on Namava since August 2021.

However, only 20 episodes of this fascinating series have been released. After the Mahsa/Jina Amini’s movement, which is also known as Women-life-freedom movement the government banned the series. Probably because they see a relationship between this series and women’s movement in Iran.
